If you are choosing to do a freestyle/skate race event, please sign up for the Classic Race at your preferred distance. All same distance races will begin at the same time, however there will be a separate Skate Race lane. Please make sure your bib number is visible at the end of the race so your time can be recorded accurately. Thank you!
The Annual Chama Chile Ski Classic features freestyle and classic cross country ski races, snowshoe races, and rookie races! Enjoy a variety of winter sports for all ages and abilities.
The racecourse includes part of the historic Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Rail Road and is located in the southern San Juan Mountains, north of Chama, New Mexico and southwest of Antonito, Colorado. The course includes rolling hills, aspen groves, open meadows, and forests of aspen, spruce, and fir.
